Pregnancy Symptoms

So you think you may be pregnant? EXCITING!

The only way you can really know for sure is with a pregnancy test but there are some early pregnancy symptoms that may give you a sign.

Here are the first stage most common pregnancy symptoms you will most probably get.

  • Nausea. This may include vomiting or not. Some women never feel nausea but some feel it as early as three weeks!

  • Swollen, tender breasts. Your breasts tend to get pretty sore and tender and sometimes a bit swollen in the early stages of pregnancy. Also the area around your nipple may also start to darken.

  • Fatigue. Ah the dreaded fatigue! If you’re feeling a little more tired than usual then it could absolutely be a sign if coupled with some of the other early symptoms. The reason you feel tired in the early stages is because your levels of hormone progesterone soar.

  • Spotting and Cramping. When the fertilized egg attaches itself to the wall of the uterus is can sometimes cause cramping and spotting. The problem is the cramping feels just like menstrual cramps so you may think it’s the start of your period when it’s not!

  • Missed period. A more obvious symptom of pregnancy that most of us usually use as an indication of pregnancy.

  • Frequent urination. Starting to urinate ALL THE TIME can start quite early due to hormone levels.

  • Aversion to foods or cravings. You might start finding that certain foods make you feel a bit nauseous while you might start craving more things than others which is due to hormonal changes

  • Mood swings. Feeling more emotional than before? Find yourself weeping at the drop of a hat. This may be because of the flood of hormones in your body.

  • Dizziness. Feeling dizzy and faint? This could absolutely be a sign of pregnancy.

Other pregnancy symptoms may include backache, headaches and constipation.

You could have ALL the above symptoms or only one or two. We are all different and each pregnancy is different.

If you find that you are pregnant! CONGRATULATIONS and get ready for the greatest journey of your life.
