Children struggle with very big emotions and sometimes they struggle to find healthy ways to cope with them and calm down.
Here are 9 simple and easy ways to help your child calm down:
Go outside and kick a ball or run around
Blow up a balloon
Ask for a hug
Listen to music or sing a song
Talk to someone
Punch a pillow
Write a letter or a story
Draw a picture
Close your eyes and think of a calm place
