Make a Nature Walk Journey Stick
I came across this fantastic idea on The Growing Family blog. Next time you take your child on a nature walk up the mountain or in the forest, why not get them to collect things on their walk so they can make a "Journey Stick".
They could create it at home afterward or on the actual walk. You'd just need to take some string and/or some double sided tape and they could find a stick along the way.
Its a wonderful idea to get the children to really appreciate the nature around them and actually take the time to look for "treasures"
